Do I really need to drop it for Security Essentials?
I have taken every precaution to see that these programs are compatible, and am looking for help. Security programs in use: AdvancedSystem Care, SpyBot, ThreatFire, MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware, avast!, Immunet Protect (avast! has Protection Exclusions in Immunet Protect), SuperAntiSpyware, Exlade Cryptic Disk, and Glary Utilities. Again and still, I am unable to duplicate that event. Highlighted in yellow are things that open routinely when this event is triggered. I attached a representative sample of what occurs. Thunderbird is now gone, and still this happens, regardless of what keystroke(s) initiates it. I posted this question three days ago it was suggested that I kill and then reinstall Thunderbird, change from avast! to Security Essentials and use MalwareAnti-Malware.
