Some of my coworkers made a positive impact on my life that I will be forever grateful for. Having aspirational coworkers was inspiring and I always enjoyed working with them. If you are seeking higher medical education, many of your coworkers will be likeminded and share the same goals as you. If you are not at a busy clinic, you’ll have a lot of downtime to work on school work, applications, etc. There has been much less friction between patients and ZAs due to these changes. Company is quick to act on feedback that relates to customer, sorry, I meant patient, experience. 3.5 day work weeks = long weekend to run errands, care for children, take small trips.

During your employment, you will become phlebotomy certified and have the chance to do blood draws on patients. You’ll do a fair amount of admin, minor lab work, and have some patient facing opportunities.
Good way to get exposure to healthcare industry, opportunity to talk to PAs and NPs about their careers.
